Bike to the Ball Game

June 24, 4 p.m.

Grab your free game ticket including a meal, and pedal with us to PK Park for a Eugene Emeralds baseball game! Ride meets at Matthews Community Garden and follows bike routes to the ball park. 


Party in the Parks

July 10, 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Churchill Sports Park

Music, Food Carts, Free Helmets, Games, Dancing! It’s all happening at the Churchill Sports Complex. Open to all!


EmX to the Museum

July 14, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

We’ll meet at Acorn Park and take the EmX down to the Museum of Natural and Cultural History on the UofO campus. Explore some amazing exhibits and stick around for lunch on us! Free ride, entry, and lunch… don’t wanna miss this bus!


Firehouse Tour

July 20, 4 p.m.

Take a quick stroll with us from McCornack Elementary to Bailey Hill Fire Station. We’ll get the grand tour of the firehouse, and eat ice cream on the way back!


Breakfast at the Bike Bridges

July 27, 7-9:30 a.m.

Buck St. Bridge

Free coffee and bagels from Full City and Bagel Sphere. Get your bike registered with Eugene Police Department, and get your fill of transportation resources. Come help us celebrate the new Buck St. Bridge!


Acorn Park BBQ

August 11, 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

Have a free hotdog or veggie dog, while you get your free bike safety check! Learn about the smarttrips program and get your order in for your free travel tools, like bike lights, insulated bottles, and neck buffs.


W. 11th Tour de Taste Buds

August 22, 5 p.m.

Tour some great local food spots as we wander down W. 11th Avenue. Grab a few tasty samples and see just how easy it is to walk or bus to all your daily needs! Meets at the Buck St. Bridge near Hole in the Wall BBQ. RSVP so we have enough snacks for everyone!


Redwood Park BBQ

August 23, 4:30-7 p.m.

Take advantage of a free bike wash and bike safety check. We’ll also be serving hot dogs, veggie dogs and sides. Learn about moving around Eugene in a variety of ways, and don’t miss out on your free smartkit!


AARP NeighborWalk: What’s up on the Amazon?

August 28, 6-7:30 p.m.

Join AARP and smarttrips for a tour of three new bike and pedestrian bridges built with LTD’s West EmX expansion. While the new bridges provide an important connection over Amazon Creek, what lays below has a substantial impact on the health of our local watershed. We’ll have an expert ecologist showcase what’s being done to preserve the habitat of Amazon Creek, and how you can help!


Eugene Sunday Streets, West Eugene

Bike, Walk, Roll, Dance, and Sing with your neighbors on car-free streets during Eugene Sunday Streets! Free and open to the whole community, Sunday Streets has free music, dozens of community vendors and a fun activity for any participant. Come join us! See route and event info
