Volunteer With Sunday Streets

Sunday Streets are free community events that roll into Eugene every summer, brought to you by the City of Eugene and powered by volunteers. Sunday Streets is made possible by volunteer support and enthusiasm, thank you volunteers!

Who Volunteers?

Everyone! Eugeneans who care about active lifestyles, sustainable transportation, creating community, and supporting the arts. Expect to meet community members and have fun. Stay posted for 2020 volunteer opportunities!

Volunteer Raffle Prizes

For each shift you volunteer, you will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win prizes. Past prizes included gift cards from Off the Waffle, Townshends Tea, Gilt & Gossamer, Mountain Rose Herbs, North+West Co, The Wheel APizza, Hummingbird Wholesale, Arriving By Bike, a Burley Travoy Trailer, and more!

Get Paid to Participate

Participate in Sunday Street for free if you table at an intersection or make money for your organization if you recruit volunteers!

Table At An Intersection for FREE

If your organization would like a table at Sunday Streets, with a waived registration fee, your organization can act as intersection superheroes. 


As intersection superheroes, if participants have questions or if a neighbor needs to drive onto the route, you help facilitate the flow and answer questions with the resources we provide you (route maps and programs). 


Your booth will be in the middle of the action and be frequented by people passing by - so this is a win-win!

Help Recruit Volunteers

We will donate money to your non-profit, community, school group, or club if you help us recruit volunteers for Sunday Streets. 


Please contact us if you have volunteers and would like to take advantage of this opportunity, we would love to have you!


  • If you recruit 5 to 10 volunteers, we will donate $5 per volunteer to your organization
  • If you recruit 10 or more volunteers (with limit of 30) we will donate $10 per volunteer to your organization
