Overview
Who and Where We Are:
Northeast Neighbors (NeN) is, as you’d expect, in the northeast corner of Eugene. We are the City-chartered neighborhood association for the area north of the Beltline Highway, with the Willamette River on our west side and the Urban Growth Boundary on our north and east.
We are committed to fostering livability in our neighborhood, keeping neighbors informed about issues that will affect them, and creating events that increase our sense of community. Learn more about us at our website: neneugene.org
Open Meetings
We hold four or five General Meetings a year, open to everyone who lives or owns a business here. At those meetings, we create a public forum for discussing area concerns and participating in-person in our local government’s decision processes.
We get City and County and State decision makers out here so that you can hear them directly, put your questions to them, and get answers. If an issue matters for our area, we will get you access to the people who will help decide it so you can make your opinions heard.
Communication
We also keep you informed on City, State, and County activities that will have impact on us. We mail newsletters to everyone in our area several times a year.
For more frequent email updates on activity in our area and notification for all NeN meetings, sign up for our eNews. Just send an email to newsletter@neneugene.org.
