City Manager's Office Internship & Volunteer Program
The City Manager’s Office may have opportunities in the Office of Human Rights & Neighborhood Involvement and the Office of Sustainability for interns and volunteers. While each of these work groups has an independent work program, staff coordinate community events, outreach and participation, education and trainings, information and referral, the support of City boards and commissions and much more. Interns and volunteers are an important part of making this work happen – they offer new perspectives and ideas, special skills and extra attention to deserving projects and efforts. In turn, they are provided an opportunity to develop new skills, work along-side a team of passionate and innovative professionals, and contribute to making a difference in our community.
We offer competitive internships which provide opportunities for academic credits, thesis projects, and general resume and skill building. These are often unpaid but small stipends are offered under some conditions. If you have a resume’, please feel free to submit it with your application. An application can be submitted at any time and we do retain applications in a pool for up to one year.
