WORK IN PROGRESS:
 For the week of May 24:             

CITY OF EUGENE

W. 18th Avenue (at Churchill St.): 
Repairs to the storm water collection system will be under way from 7:00am to 6:00pm through Friday.  Expect lane closures and workers and construction equipment in the roadway, with very brief delays.

W. 24th Avenue to Taylor Street to W. 28th Avenue to Fillmore Street:  Area bounded by these streets will have repairs starting after Monday, May 25.  No major traffic delays are expected.  Some parking will be restricted but driveways and streets will remain open.

W. 25th Avenue to Chambers Street to McLean Street to Garfield Street:  Area bounded by these streets will have repairs starting after Monday, May 25.  No major traffic delays are expected.  Some parking will be restricted but driveways and streets will remain open.

W. 25th Avenue (Hawkins Ln. to Brittany St.):  Ramp improvements continue this week.  Watch for construction traffic and expect periodic lane closures.

City View Street (W. 28th Ave. to W. 29th Ave.):  Ramp improvements will begin this week.  Watch for construction traffic and expect periodic lane closures.

E. Broadway (Ferry St. to Hilyard St.):  Work on the wastewater system in the center of E. Broadway continues at night between the hours of 8:00pm and 6:00am Monday through Friday.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane in both directions at night.  Expect lane closures, lane shifts, brief delays and closure of on-street parking.  Also expect equipment and workers in the roadway.

Friendly Street (W. 25th Ave. to W. 26th Ave.):  Repairs to the storm water collection system will be under way from 7:00am to 6:00pm through Friday.  Expect workers and construction equipment in the roadway, with very brief delays. 

Garden Way (Harlow Rd. to Mahlon Ave.):   Completion of paving project, including manhole work and clean up, will occur intermittently, with isolated work zones.  Lanes will be shifted but open in both directions, with minimal delays.

River Road (Maynard Ave. to Merry Ln.):  Ramp improvements will continue this week.  Watch for construction traffic and expect periodic lane closures.

Timberline Drive (Warren St. to Wintercreek Dr.):  Ramp improvements will continue this week.  Watch for construction traffic and expect periodic lane closures.

Willakenzie Road (Coburg Rd. to Bogart Lane):  Completion of paving project, including manhole work and clean up, will occur intermittently, with isolated work zones.  Lanes will be shifted but open in both directions, with minimal delays. 

CITY OF EUGENE, PARKS:

Day Island Park, Laurelwood Park, Spencer Butte Park: 
Pavement repairs to parking lots will begin after Monday, May 25.  Parking will be restricted.

Spencer Butte Summit Trail (at S. Willamette St.):  Construction on summit trail is expected to continue through the end of July.  Work will require occasional partial or complete closures of the butte and adjacent section of Ridgeline Trail.  Partial trail closures will continue Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm.  No full closure scheduled for this week.  For closure maps and other project information, visit http://www.eugene-or.gov/spencerbutte.


LANE TRANSIT DISTRICT WEST EUGENE EmX PROJECT:

All businesses remain accessible during construction.

W. 6th Avenue (Charnelton St. to Madison St.):  
One lane will be restricted during daytime hours and two lanes may be restricted at night.

W. 7th Avenue (Jefferson St. to Charnelton St.):  The right-hand lane is open for right turns into businesses and cross streets but the lane is blocked from through-travel.  During night time hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., utility relocation may restrict two lanes on West 7th Avenue at Jefferson Street.

Charnelton Street (W.  6th Ave. to W. 10th Ave.):  Open for one lane of southbound travel and one side of on-street parking.

Grant Street (at W.  7th Ave.):  Closed at the intersection with south side of West 7th Avenue.  Motorists can use Garfield and Chambers streets to access the area south of the closure.

Jefferson Street (W. 6th Ave. to W. 7th Ave.):  Jefferson Street may be closed during nighttime hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for utility relocation.

Lincoln Street (at W.  6th Ave.):  Closed at the intersection with south side of West 6th Avenue.  Motorists may access Lincoln Street from West 7th Avenue and the 6th Avenue Alley.
