CITY OF EUGENE
Chambers Street (W. 19th Ave. to W. 22nd Ave.): Street will be closed Sunday, April 26, 7am to 7pm as part of a water main replacement project by Eugene Water and Electric Board. Fillmore or Pierce streets can be used as a detour. On Monday, April 27, weather permitting, crews will close one lane for paving. Watch for flaggers.
Garden Way (Harlow Rd. to Mahlon Ave.): The contractor will be doing pavement repairs in the north bound lanes. Expect flaggers.
Harris (28th Ave. to 29th Ave.): Repairs will cause closure April 24 through May 4. The street will be open to residents, though some driveways will not be accessible during construction.
Olive Street (W. 11th Ave. to W. 13th Ave.): Major construction is complete. Pavement markings will be placed in the next few weeks, causing little impact to the traveling public.
Willakenzie Road (Coburg Rd. to Bogart Lane): The contractor will be doing pavement repairs near the intersection of Coburg Road. Expect lanes shifts and travel lane restrictions.
Spencer Butte Summit Trail (at S. Willamette St.): Construction on summit trail is expected to continue through the end of July. Work will require occasional partial or complete closures of the butte and adjacent section of Ridgeline Trail. Partial trail closures will continue Monday through Friday, 7:00am to 4:30pm. LANE TRANSIT DISTRICT WEST EUGENE EmX PROJECT:
All businesses remain accessible during construction.
W. 6th Avenue: During week nights, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., two lanes may be restricted on West 6th Avenue between Adams and Van Buren streets.
W. 7th Avenue: No lane restrictions are expected on West 7th Avenue between Garfield and Chambers Streets. Two lanes may be restricted on West 7th Avenue at Monroe Street during nighttime hours, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m., for utility relocation.
Charnelton Street: One lane of southbound travel and one side of on-street parking is expected to be open between West 6th and 10th avenues.
Grant Street: Street is closed at its intersection with the south side of West 7th Avenue. Motorists can use Garfield and Chambers streets to access the area south of the closure.
