Bicycling in Eugene
For more than 30 years, bicycling has been a key piece of our community's identity. With the help of energetic advocates and a supportive City Council, bicycling has become an integral part of Eugene's great lifestyle. Whether you choose to bike for recreation, transportation or a combination of the two, Eugene's network of bicycle facilities will help you get to where you want to go.

Eugene's bicycle network includes 30 miles of off-street paths, 89 miles of on-street bicycle lanes, and 5 bicycle/pedestrian bridges spanning the Willamette River. Plans for expanding the network are being implemented with new projects each year and many existing facilities are being repaired with funding from a recently passed street-repair bond measure.
