Program Information
What is Adaptive Recreation Services? Located at Hilyard Community Center, Adaptive Recreation Services provides year-round, community-based recreational, social, and educational programs for Eugene area children, teens and adults with disabilities. We provide participants with the opportunity to develop new skills, enhance awareness of their community and natural environment, build self-confidence, and recognize personal potential.
Who We Serve Adaptive Recreation Services offers recreational opportunities for people with a variety of disabilities including, but not limited to: cerebral palsy, head injury, stroke, multiple sclerosis, wheelchair users, mental and or emotional illness, alcoholism and drug addiction, visual impairments, spina bifida, mental retardation, and autism.

For scholarship information click here. When a participant enrolls in any of our programs, we ask that a Participant Information Form be filled out.

Large Print and Audio Tape, Accessible Van with Wheelchair Lift, Braille, Readers, Sign Language Interpretation and FM System Hearing Assistance Equipment.
