Neighborhood Leaders Resources
Neighborhood Leaders Council:
The Neighborhood Leaders Council is comprised of the chair persons of each recognized neighborhood organization or their designee. Chairs have been elected by their neighborhood association members -- their neighbors.
The main function of the NLC is to maintain effective communication between the neighbors they represent and local government, promoting grassroots democratic involvement. The NLC assists the neighborhood associations and promotes community leadership skills.
Meeting Schedule:
The NLC meets on the fourth Tuesday of most months, 7:00 p.m., usually in the Sloat Room, first floor of the Atrium Building, 99 W. 10th Avenue, downtown Eugene. Summer potlucks in alternate locations do occur, so please check with Neighborhood Services at 682-5272, for the most up to date information.
