The Community Development Division is committed to making Eugene a better place to live and work. The division works towards the achievement of this general goal through an array of programs focused on more specific goals, including:

Downtown planning and improvement

Downtown Eugene Interactive Map Visitors can now explore downtown Eugene through an interactive web map that provides information about downtown Eugene’s public places of interest, recent public investments, City parking and connections to the University of Oregon.
Council Approves No-Cost Time Extensions The City Council approved extending the life of approved land use applications in order to help projects that may have stalled.
