The Community Development Division is committed to making Eugene a better place to live and work. The division works towards the achievement of this general goal through an array of programs focused on more specific goals, including:

  • Managing federal Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) activities
  • Downtown planning and improvement
  • Affordable rental housing and home ownership
  • Economic stability through living-wage job creation
