The City of Eugene Waste Prevention and Green Building program aims to make sustainable waste prevention and green building practices the norm in Eugene. To achieve this vision we regulate solid waste haulers in Eugene and support green projects through our guide2Green program.
Priority goals for the guide2Green program are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote sustainable economic development and support local self-sufficiency activities. To achieve these goals, we offer technical assistance, incentives and educational opportunities.
