This 12-minute multimedia video promotes the ease and benefits of construction recycling and illustrates the role of construction salvage and reuse in conserving resources, reducing climate change and saving money. Narrated by Metro's construction recycling expert, Bryce Jacobson, this video was made through a collaboration between BRING and the City of Eugene with a DEQ Grant.

The City of Eugene Waste Prevention and Green Building program aims to make sustainable waste prevention and green building practices the norm in Eugene. To achieve this vision we regulate solid waste haulers in Eugene and support green projects through our guide2Green program. 

guide2Green waste prevention and green buildingPriority goals for the guide2Green program are to reduce greenhouse gas emissions, promote sustainable economic development and support local self-sufficiency activities. To achieve these goals, we offer technical assistance, incentives and educational opportunities.
