EUGENE CITY COUNCIL MEETINGS

The formal meetings of the Eugene City Council are held on the second and fourth Mondays of each month at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber.  The council conducts work sessions in the McNutt Room of City Hall at 5:30 p.m. before each Monday evening meeting.  Additional work sessions are also held at noon on the second, third, fourth and fifth Wednesdays of each month.  Special meetings may be called by the mayor, provided that the public is given 24-hour notice.  All council meetings are open to the public, except for the properly called executive sessions.

The agendas and supporting summary materials published on this site are current as of 5 p.m. on the Friday preceding the meetings. MEETING WEBCASTS  City Council meetings and work sessions are now broadcast live on the City’s Web site.  In addition to the live broadcasts, an archive of past City Council webcasts is available.  These archived meetings are indexed by agenda item, enabling users to select a specific agenda item without having to search through an entire meeting for the desired topic.   To access past and present meeting webcasts, locate the links in the top right column of the City’s main Web page (www.eugene-or.gov) or in the column at left.

NOTICE OF CONSIDERATION OF ORDINANCES _____________________________ On Monday, November 16, 2009, at 7:30 p.m. in the Council Chamber at Eugene City Hall, 777 Pearl Street, Eugene, Oregon, the Eugene City Council will conduct a public hearing on the following ordinances:   AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE JEFFERSON-WESTSIDE SPECIAL AREA ZONE (S-JW); APPLYING THAT ZONE TO SPECIFIC PROPERTIES; AMENDING THE JEFFERSON-FAR WEST REFINEMENT PLAN; AMENDING THE WESTSIDE NEIGHBORHOOD PLAN; AMENDING SECTIONS 9.0500, 9.2161, 9.2170, 9.2171 AND 9.8030 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971; AND ADDING SECTIONS 9.3600, 9.3605, 9.3615, 9.3625, 9.3626, 9.3630, 9.3631 AND 9.3640 TO THAT CODE (Council Bill 5013).   AN ORDINANCE CONCERNING PARKING REQUIREMENTS FOR MULTI-FAMILY HOUSING; AMENDING THE WEST UNIVERSITY REFINEMENT PLAN; AND AMENDING SECTIONS 9.0500, 9.6410 AND 9.6420 OF THE EUGENE CODE, 1971 (Council Bill 5014).
