How to Renew Your Books

How to Renew Loans

How do I renew loans?
  • Log in to your library account (14 digit barcode without spaces + your password).
  • Click Items Out tab.
  • Check items to renew.
  • Click Renew Selected Items (at bottom of screen).
  • A new screen lists your renewals and tells you if any items could not be renewed.
Need help?  Visit the library reference desk or call: (541) 682-5450, press 2.

Why won't the catalog let me renew?
  • Someone else has requested the item.
  • You have reached the maximum number of renewals.
  • It's time to renew your library card.  All cards must be renewed in person each year.  (For more information see Get a Library Card.)
  • You have a long overdue item.
  • You owe $10 or more on your Library account.
How many times can I renew items?
  • Most items may be renewed up to three times.
  • Some items do not allow renewals.  For more information, see our loan policies.
