Updated August 30
W 18th Ave, between City View and Chambers: Major reconstruction of the north half (west bound lane and part of the center lane) of W 18th Ave from City View to Chambers will be ongoing this week. Traffic will be shifted into narrow lanes on the south half of the street. The north half of the intersections of Cleveland, Arthur, Garfield, Hayes and Grant will be closed to all traffic. Concrete pavement is being replaced in sections east of Chambers under the Westmoreland Park bike bridge, also shifting traffic into narrow lanes. Eastbound and westbound W 18th traffic will be maintained, but drivers should expect heavy delays and use alternate routes when possible. Work hours will be 7:00 am to 9:00 pm this week, with a 4:00 am to 7:00 am concrete pavement pour anticipated on Wednesday or Thursday morning. Arthur St will be closed to all traffic at W 18th Ave Monday through Friday.
