Structural Plan Check Fees Due at Application Submittal:

Plan check fees are based on the date of application submittal and the applicant's estimated value of work; these fees are due when the application is first submitted to the Permit and Information Center (PIC). Changes in valuation due to under estimation of project value, or through changes to the project plans, may result in additional structural plan check fees due at the time the approved permit is issued.

Use the calculator below to determine your structural plan check fees. The application date is the date you plan to submit the application. The valuation is your estimated total project value.

This calculated fee is the structural plan check fee due at the time of submittal and does not include additional fees that will be due at permit issuance. Please note: If you plan to submit your plans sometime in the future, your fees may vary. For questions regarding any planned fee increases, please contact the PIC at (541)682-5086. Phased Permits are assessed an additional fee for each phase that is due at the time of submittal. If you are submitting a phased permit, please contact our office at (541)682-5505 for an exact amount that will be due at submittal.

Fee Estimating Guides

The fee estimating guides have been developed to help customers estimate their building permit and Systems Development Charge (SDC) permit fees for construction projects. The City of Eugene does not provide fee estimating services for specific projects. The sample fee calculations shown within these documents will assist you in determining approximate costs for your project. Please keep in mind that costs could differ due to the number of variables used to calculate costs.
