Eugene Pedestrian and Bicycle Strategic Plan

What began in the fall of 2006 with the first annual Eugene Walking and Biking Summit has steadily evolved into a full-fledged strategic plan to achieve the vision of making Eugene a leader in support of pedestrians and cyclists.  City staff and community partners developed this strategic plan using a dynamic community and stakeholder engagement process with guidance from a citizen-led Departmental Advisory Committee (DAC).  The final plan was released in January of 2008 and is actively being implemented by Eugene's Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC), City staff and those organizations that were instrumental in developing the plan.
