CERT Training

Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) Training
The City of Eugene offers CERT training classes designed to train community members so they may support professional emergency first responders, as well as help CERT members better understand what to expect following a major disaster. A series of 8 class sessions provide information useful to individuals in assisting family members and neighbors following a catastrophic event. CERT training culminates in a mock-disaster exercise for all participants. Training is funded in part by grants through the Department of Homeland Security, community donations, and by the City of Eugene’s Emergency Management Program.
If you have any questions, please contact us at 541.682.5665 or email to cert@ci.eugene.or.us
