Brewer Park

Location: 1820 Brewer Ln.

Brewer Park is a 1.9 acre neighborhood park located in the Cal Young neighborhood on Brewer Avenue, a few blocks west of Cal Young Road on Norkenzie or Gilham.  Current park facilities include a children's play area, hard-surface paths, lawn areas, park furnishings, artwork, trees and shrubs.

Improvements Complete!

Thanks to the 1998 Parks and Open Space bond measure, Brewer Park received a much needed renovation in 2006.  Based on neighborhood input at a series of public meetings, a concept design was created for the park (see link in right-hand column).  Top priorities for the plan were constructed using available funding, including a complete redevelopment of the playground, new park furniture, a new picnic area, drinking fountain, and more.  Many thanks to supportive neighbors for helping to make the project a success!
