Stream Team

The Eugene Stream Team's mission is to create and support increased stewardship of Eugene's watersheds. Volunteers can plant native trees and shrubs, participate in creek and river clean-ups, monitor fish and birds, or tend plants at the City's native plant nursery. These are great opportunities to contribute to the protection and enhancement of our urban watershed in a variety of settings, while learning new skills.

In addition, individuals, neighborhoods, community service groups, churches, and businesses can adopt ponds, streams, or wetlands. For mor information, see the Adopt A Waterway link on the left.

There is no experience necessary to join the Stream Team. All ages, skills, and interests are welcome. When volunteering with the Stream Team, all necessary instruction, as well as gloves, tools, and equipment are provided.

To learn more about specific Stream Team activities, sign up to volunteer, learn about upcoming volunteer opportunities, or to see some of our dedicated volunteers at work, click on the links to the left.
