Eugene Police Activities League (EPAL)
Cops and Kids - Building a Stronger Community

July 6 - July 10, 2009
8:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.


This exciting opportunity is offered for youth between the ages of 8- to 13-years-old.  A wide variety of activities will help students develop and build leadership skills.  EPAL is part of the National Police Activities League program, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting positive youth development through athletics, recreation and education.  Camp highlights include:

Ems/Blazer Mini Clinics  Challenge Course
Art Classes The Amazing Mini Race 
Leadership Classes Nutrition Education

A Child Accident Prevention Program

August 10 - August 21, 2009
Monday through Friday
9:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.

The Eugene Police Department in partnership with Eugene Kiwanis Club will be holding a two week comprehensive educational program designed to introduce preschool 5-year-old children to safety awareness.  This nationally certified and accredited program emphasizes pedestrian and bicycle safety, while also introducing various other safety issues.

The 2009 Safety Town Camp is full and no longer accepting applications
