Beam Redevelopment Project   For more Beam Centre Court redevelopment images, click here In July 2008, Beam Development utilized a combination of local and federal funds to acquire the Centre Court, adjacent vacant site, and Washburne properties, located in the core of downtown, at the intersection of Broadway and Willamette Street.  Beam Development is currently completing the work necessary to support office and restaurant tenants in the Washburne building, and to rehabilitate the Centre Court building for office and retail use. Development in the Vacant site is anticipated as a later phase. Work on the Centre Court will include a complete renovation of this critical building. Project architect, Ankrom Moisan, and general contractor Hyland Construction, have been engaged in developing design and construction documents for the Centre Court, as well as abatement of hazardous materials including asbestos and mold. The building will provide unique, creative loft-like spaces for established business and incubator space for newly emerging businesses.  Prospective tenants currently include an architecture firm and several software development firms. Building permits for this project are expected to be submitted by May, 2010, with work beginning in July, and completed approximately 12 months later, in July 2011.
