    Downtown is the heart of Eugene, our civic, economic, cultural, and governmental center.  Where people come for work, celebration, commerce, entertainment, and living.

    To maintain the economic strength of Downtown, the City of Eugene takes a proactive role in promoting the desired dense, high quality development and investment.Working closely with private sector partners and developers, leveraging economic tools and City-owned property, the City of Eugene works to achieve these goals. 

    In 2004, Eugene adopted the Downtown Plan.  The plan seeks to capitalize on development opportunities, and reinforce downtown as a strong regional, cultural center for the community. Please visit the links on the above for more information on:
