The City of Eugene’s Neighborhood Services Program is currently working with neighborhood leaders, city staff, and the public involvement consulting firm Jeanne Lawson and Associates to perform an overall assessment of the neighborhood program. The goal of the assessment is to make recommendations that will help Neighborhood Services carry out its mission to build community at the neighborhood level and improve the livability of the City's neighborhoods. City staff is collecting this information through research of neighborhood programs in other cities, stakeholder interviews, sidewalk surveys and an online survey.
The City is encouraging all interested community members to help in this effort by participating in the on-line survey by August 15. A link to the survey will be on the City’s home page beginning August 4, or the survey can be found at:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.aspx?sm=2x03la_2fbIt58Soz4vqcayA_3d_3d
Everyone who completes the survey will be entered for a chance to win one of four $50 gift certificates. The certificates are for Cafe Soriah's, Adam's Place, the Hult Center for the Performing Arts and Down to Earth Home Garden and Gifts.
