Week of July 6
Bailey Hill Road, from West 18th Avenue to Bertelsen Road: Bailey Hill Road will be under construction from W 18th
Avenue to Bertelsen Road.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane in either direction.  Expect delays.  The contractor will not be working July 3.
Chad Drive Extension (Old Coburg Road): The contractor will be installing the underground wastewater system.  Utility work may also be taking place in the area.  Old Coburg Road will be closed to all traffic except for access to Old Coburg Road residences.

City-wide crack-sealing: Maintenance crews are cleaning cracks in road surfaces and sealing with hot asphalt.  Motorists are advised to use caution around construction zones.

City-wide slurry-sealing: Slurry seal of streets has begun.  No parking will be allowed on affected streets and streets will be closed to traffic for up to 8-hours. Advance notification will be sent to residents prior to start up of work.

Crest Area Street Project – Work from Lincoln St. to Storey Blvd. will take place this summer and fall.  The contractor will be begin mobilizing equipment and installing signs and erosion control this week.  Utility work may also be taking place in the area.  Traffic should use caution and begin avoiding the area as possible.  Please watch for workers and equipment.
Elmira and Maple streets: Work includes pipe work and excavation. The road will continue to be closed to through traffic on phase one of the project; Roosevelt Boulevard to Elmira Road and West on Elmira to Anton Court.  Residents of these streets will be allowed access to their homes.

Eugene Airport: Watch for construction equipment and trucks traveling to and from the Eugene Airport from Airport Road to Northrop Drive.  There are multiple paving projects at the Airport throughout the summer. 

Bordered by 13th Ave., Villard St., Graduate Village, Bean, and Hamilton residence hall complexes: The University of Oregon is building a new arena to replace McArthur Court. Expect trucks entering and exiting the site on 13th Ave. and also exiting the site on Villard St. Construction hours are typically Monday - Saturday, 8 am - 7 pm.
