- Donate money through direct contributions or planned giving; including annual gifts, stock, property transfers, and bequests
- Name a Library shelf or bookstack in the name of a friend, family member, neighbor or civic leader

Friends of Eugene Public Library

- Become a member (dues are tax-deductible)
- Donate gently-used books and magazines at any Library location; for large collections, call the Friends to arrange pick up
- Shop at the Annual Book Sale, Second Hand Prose Book Store, and other special sales
- Volunteer to clerk at Second Hand Prose or to help at the sales

Become a Eugene Public Library Volunteer
Volunteers contribute their time, talents, and energy to the Library in many ways, including:
- Keeping books and other items in order on shelves
- Welcoming people at the Information Desk
- Clerking at Second Hand Prose used book store
- Processing and repairing books
- Assisting at youth events
- And more!
Library volunteers commit to regular weekly shifts and agree to volunteer for at least 6 months. The minimum age is 14.
To apply, pick up an application form at the Information Desk at the Downtown Library, or at the Bethel or Sheldon Branch Library. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact applicants as new openings come up that match their skills and interests.
