  • Keeping books and other items in order on shelves
  • Welcoming people at the Information Desk
  • Clerking at Second Hand Prose used book store
  • Processing and repairing books
  • Assisting at youth events
  • And more!

Library volunteers commit to regular weekly shifts and agree to volunteer for at least 6 months. The minimum age is 14.

To apply, pick up an application form at the Information Desk at the Downtown Library, or at the Bethel or Sheldon Branch Library. The Volunteer Coordinator will contact applicants as new openings come up that match their skills and interests.
