Planning is underway for a fun and fabulous Summer in the City 2014!
Summer in the City - Downtown Dodgeball
The memories of warm summer evenings downtown, in the parks, at the skate competitions and throughout the town are savored all winter long. Spring is here and we are getting ready to announce our 2014 Summer in the City line up. The 2014 Summer in the City pocket brochure, will be in English and Spanish languages featuring  free events all over Eugene. The City of Eugene is proud to bring you six series: --Downtown, --Live Music, --Movies, --Skate Competitions, --Breakfast at the Bike Bridges and -- Sunday Jam: Dancin’ in the Park.

Summer in the City - Art Alfresco Plein Air Show - Kesey SquareSummer in the City rolled out with a new jingle by one of our local bands, The Sugar Beets. We look forward to hearing them again this summer. They set the stage for all our events from the concerts in Washburne Park, Amazon Park, Awbrey Park, and  Petersen Park Barn, to the Movies In The Parks series, and our downtown events. A collaboration with Create! Eugene a summer arts festival and Art Alfresco & Plein Air Show will take place once again in Kesey Square.

Summer in the City - Fashion show - Sidewalk to Catwalk-MIUSA Model on the runwayThe exciting, inspiring and  successful fashion show - Sidewalk to Catwalk moved from Kesey Square to the Park Blocks, and what a terrific setting that turned out to be. A highlight for everyone included the participation of models from Mobility International USA who brought down the house. and stole the show.
