Leaf Collection and Delivery Program 2012-2013
Overview
Eugene’s leaf program dates back to the 1960s. Initially a basic flood-control service, the leaf program has evolved over the years to include significant benefits in the areas of water quality, natural resource recycling and community service.
When to Put Leaves Out
Wait until the weekend before the scheduled pickup date to place your leaves in the street. Once leaf collection has occurred on your street, do not place more leaves in the street until the next scheduled round of collection. See
Leaf Disposal Safety Tips for more information.
