South Willamette Street from 19th Avenue to 24th Avenue will be repaved in 2013. Replacing the pavement includes replacing the top layers of deteriorated pavement and removing sections of pavement that have completely failed. The project will also reconstruct sidewalk access ramps to meet accessibility standards.
Pavement projects provide an opportunity to reevaluate the existing configuration of the roadway such as changes in striping to include the addition of bike lanes or crosswalks. Please see the Related Links for public engagement activities and outcomes.
If you’d like to comment on the pavement project from 19th Avenue to 24th Avenue contact Reed Dunbar, Associate Transportation Planner, at 541-682-5727.
