This grant application would fund bicycle and pedestrian improvements on East and West Amazon Drive from Hilyard St. to Snell St. and potentially include two additional pedestrian bridges across Amazon Creek.
The result of this effort will be a Transportation System Plan that consists of project-and program-based improvements to meet the long-term transportation needs of Eugene’s residents, businesses, and visitors. The Eugene Bike and Pedestrian Plan will be incorporated into the TSP. We are continually coordinating with a related study, Envision Eugene, that is planning for the city’s housing and employment needs over the next 20 years.
