About Sunday Streets
Eugene’s first Sunday Streets took place on September 18, 2011 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., connecting the Whiteaker and Downtown neighborhoods. There were over 2,000 attendees in 2011 and over 3,000 in 2012.
Eugene Sunday Streets is a FREE community event that rolls into Eugene every summer and is brought to you by the City of Eugene.
The event features about 3 miles of a traffic-free streets that open for people to walk, bike and roll, connecting Eugene neighborhoods. There are Activity Centers at three of Eugene’s beautiful City parks that host FREE fitness classes, dancing, yoga, slacklining, live music and much more!

Information for Neighbors and Area Businesses
Although neighbors along the route are strongly encouraged to limit or postpone their driving between 11:00-4:00 p.m., there will be designated intersections to allow residents access to their homes and local businesses.
Information for Vendors
All activity vendors must provide entertainment or activity which engages participants in fitness and/or promotes healthy living and exercise. Interaction should be the primary focus, not incidental. Sales are discouraged at Eugene Sunday Streets.
