About Sunday Streets
Eugene’s first Sunday Streets took place on September 18, 2011 from 12:00 – 4:00 p.m., connecting the Whiteaker and Downtown neighborhoods. There were over 2,000 attendees in 2011 and over 3,000 in 2012. In 2013 we expanded the program to two events, which totaled over 5,700 participants and more than 200 volunteers.

Eugene Sunday Streets are FREE community events that roll into Eugene every summer and are brought to you by the City of Eugene.

The events feature several miles of a traffic-free streets  for people to walk, bike and roll, connecting Eugene neighborhoods. There are Activity Centers at Eugene’s beautiful City parks and along the routes that include FREE fitness classes, dancing, yoga, slacklining, live music and much more!

In 2014, the Eugene Sunday Streets Program is planning to do two events again! Stay tuned for more information.
