Information Services Division
The Information Services Division (ISD) builds and maintains the City of Eugene’s technologies to meet the evolving needs of the community. The scope of operations includes:
- 51 City facilities throughout the community connected by a high-speed fiber optic network
- Free public WiFi at many City facilities and the downtown park blocks
- More than 200 business software systems
- 110 servers
- 1,241 personal computers
- 533 laptops
- More than 100 mobile computers in Police, Fire, EMS and building inspector vehicles
- 1,760 telephones
- 349 printers
- More than $1.8 million in revenues from the City website per year
- More than 2 million visits to the City website per year
