Bold Steps Award Program
RE-think for Business

bold steps application

APPLICATIONS DUE TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 15.

The Bold Steps Award recognizes Eugene-based sustainable businesses, and represents a partnership between The City of Eugene, Eugene Mayor Kitty Piercy and BRING’s RE:think Business program. Recently updated from a semi-monthly award to an annual award, this year’s award increased the level of competition, as well as the visibility of the winner. Read the inspirational story about 2015's Bold Steps winner, Thermo Fisher Scientific, here

For the City of Eugene, sustainability means considering and balancing all three aspects of the triple bottom line – people, planet and prosperity – to address the community’s present needs without compromising future generations. The Bold Steps award recognizes businesses that embody this vision and are taking bold steps in each area of the triple bottom line.

To qualify for consideration for the Bold Steps award, businesses must be certified through the RE:think program, offered through BRING Recyling. Through RE:think, businesses receive free, on-site consultation to reduce waste and save money. Apply for the Bold Steps Award using this online application. To download a hard copy of the application, please click on this link.

Congratulations to the Winner of the 2015 Mayor's Bold Steps Award!
