Come join Northwest Community Credit Union and City of Eugene Parks and Open Space staff on August 4 from 9 a.m. to noon in Alton Baker Park for a major park overhaul, followed by a barbeque. Projects will include performing trail maintenance in the dog park, caring for Hays Memorial Tree Garden, painting over graffiti, weeding several specialty gardens including the Ken Neilson Memorial Garden and the Rock Garden, as well has performing vegetation control in various areas throughout the park.
